Music seems to have taken different forms for me these days… Lately I’ve been strumming my ukulele, singing songs about fungus, worms, bunnies, and vegetables with squirmy elementary school children. Being a science and garden teacher in the Bayview of San Francisco keeps me on my toes– and I find that music soothes, centers, and engages even the most wild spirits.
I’ve gained some songwriting inspiration from my students’ powerful stories and from dreamy places close to my heart. It was a pleasure to work with Scott McDowell at the legendary Hyde Street Studio C. I wrangled some of SF’s finest musicians to put their magical touches on the tracks.
Stay tuned for the new melodies! Coming soon…
